Ephemera Sanctuary Book of Life Workshop coming soon….

The Ephemera Sanctuary Book of Life Workshop invites participants to explore the stories hidden within family histories, photographs, documents, archives, and everyday keepsakes.

Blending genealogy, historical research, visual storytelling, and personal narrative, this hands-on experience offers participants new ways to investigate the past, preserve memory, and transform fragments of history into stories that can be carried forward.

New workshops and learning experiences are currently in development.

Discover your family history and the stories therein.

Ephemera Sanctuary is holding space for the many fragments of ancestral history, and the stories within them waiting to be told.

Previously, the idea of genealogy was daunting… I thought I needed to cover it all. Knowing that digging into one member could be meaningful has reignited my interest.

— Ephemera Sanctuary Workshop Participant

If I could remember just one idea from today’s workshop, it would be to think about what I’m holding onto today that could become an ephemeral object or meaningful piece of history for future generations.

— Ephemera Sanctuary Workshop Participant

The Ephemera Sanctuary workshop sparked more hope that maybe I can get past some of my brick walls on our tree… now I see how scrapbooking preserves memories, but a Book of Life preserves select stories from your fascinating ancestors.
